Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Invisible Ink is a blind drawing and party game. You can draw without creating an account. This policy explains what data the app and its service providers process, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Drawings and Game Content

Most drawings are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud features, Apple may sync eligible app data through your iCloud account. Real-time online play, Game Center matches, and SharePlay transmit the content and game state needed to connect participants and run the session; Invisible Ink does not retain a permanent copy of those real-time session drawings.

Tournament submissions are retained in the app's public CloudKit database so Invisible Ink can provide tournament participation, voting, leaderboards, results, and rewards. A submission may include a drawing thumbnail, score, submission date, tournament and round identifiers, and your Game Center player ID and display name. Tournament entries are available to other app users through tournament features and are accessible to the developer through the app's CloudKit container.

Analytics and Diagnostics

When Analytics Collection is enabled in Settings, Invisible Ink uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and AppsFlyer to understand app usage, stability, acquisition, and feature performance. Depending on the service and your permissions, this may include:

  • app interactions, screens, game modes, session timing, and feature outcomes;
  • device and app information, identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, and campaign attribution data;
  • crash reports, performance information, and other diagnostic data; and
  • purchase events such as product ID, product type, price, currency, and transaction identifier.

You can turn off optional analytics in the app's Settings. This does not disable processing required to provide purchases, online features, consent controls, or advertising in the ad-supported version.

Advertising

The ad-supported version uses Google AdMob to load and measure banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may process device identifiers, approximate location, advertising data, product interaction, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation. Users with Premium or Remove Ads access do not receive ads, and Invisible Ink avoids starting the advertising SDK after their entitlement is confirmed.

Consent and Tracking Choices

Where required, the app presents Google's consent form before requesting ads. A Privacy Choices row appears in Settings when regional rules require an ongoing way to review that consent.

The app may also ask for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. If you deny permission, the app and its SDKs cannot access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). Ad-supported features may still use non-personalized or contextual ads and limited measurement where permitted by law and your consent choices.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Invisible Ink does not receive your payment-card details. The app verifies entitlement and may send purchase-event information to Firebase and AppsFlyer for revenue analytics, attribution, duplicate prevention, and advertising measurement.

Notifications and Uninstall Measurement

If you allow notifications, Apple provides the app with a push-notification token. When optional analytics is enabled, AppsFlyer may use that token to measure whether an installation remains active. Notification permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

Apple Services

Features such as iCloud, Game Center, SharePlay, and StoreKit use services provided by Apple and are also subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Invisible Ink uses an app-specific CloudKit container to retain the tournament information described above.

Retention and Deletion

Local drawings and preferences remain until you delete them or remove the app. Synced private iCloud data can be managed through your Apple account. Tournament records remain in the public CloudKit database as needed to operate and preserve tournament results, leaderboards, voting, and rewards. You may request access to or deletion of your tournament submission data by contacting privacy@blinddraw.ink.

Service providers retain analytics, advertising, and diagnostic data under their own retention settings and policies. Because no Invisible Ink account is required, deleting the app removes locally stored app data but does not automatically erase tournament records or data already processed by Apple or another service provider.

Children's Privacy

Invisible Ink is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal contact information or create an Invisible Ink account. Parents and guardians should supervise a child's device, advertising, Game Center, SharePlay, and privacy settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will be posted on this page.
